To Change the Heart
From the beginning of creation, we have seen that the heart is the very seat of all our sins. (Genesis 6:5, Matthew 15:19)  It is my belief that unless the heart is changed, one's life and behavior cannot permanently change. That’s the bad news. The good news is that God gives us choice through free will. He never requires of us anything we cannot do. As we submit our wills to God, we find abundant Life. Therefore, it is my goal, through the use of Biblical Scriptures, to help the client to see and understand the meaning of living a changed life by having a changed heart...and how to open the heart to change.

and welcome to my web site, the window to my ministry.  My name is Dwayne Collins, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), licensed by the State of Texas. As a professional Christian Counselor, I provide Biblically based counseling services to the Southland, Keller, Grapevine, North Richland Hills, and Fort Worth area area through my office in Southlake. I also provide Biblically based counseling services to the Lewisville, Flower Mound, Highland Village, The Colony, Carrollton, Denton County, and the Dallas area through my office in Lewisville.

As a Christian Counselor, by providing counseling of the heart, I assist clients in dealing with issues pertaining to marriage, family, stress, sexual issues both individually and through group counseling, substance abuse, and counseling for many other life problems. Through Christian counseling, I offer Biblically-based professional counseling. This effective approach provides permanent solutions for all age groups and every conceivable problem that involves human difficulties.

Perhaps one of the very first questions most people ask is “What will the counseling sessions cost me?” This is a legitimate question. Any organization, whether profit or non-profit, has expenses. When God called us to counseling, He called us to a ministry first. And, although we still have expenses, the number one concern is the ministry. Statement of Faith

•  Heart Change Ministry believes that the only way lives can truly be changed is by the truth and power of God’s Word and the work of His Holy Spirit.

• The Bible is God’s Word and is inerrant in its original manuscript.

• The Bible is the revelation of who the Person of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit is and is therefore the only source of wisdom on which effective counseling can be based.

• That we have no righteousness in ourselves and are completely dependent upon God’s love, grace and forgiveness for our salvation which comes only through the covenant that God made with mankind through Abraham through faith by grace and is in no way dependant on man’s works.

• That an individual’s life destiny is not dictated by childhood experiences or family of origin, but rather the degree to which one trusts God through faith and obeys His Word.

•  That God’s Word clearly shows what life, marriage and family was designed by Him to be and that our  abundant life is dependent on obedience.

• That Heart Change Ministry exists as a ministry and business to provide authentic Biblical counseling to people of all denominations while proclaiming the Trinity of the Godhead as described in the Bible and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as the only means of eternal life.

• That the ministry of Biblical counseling provided by Heart Change Ministry is intense discipleship designed to help the individual’s life glorify God and receive the full, abundant life that the Lord intends for each of His children.
